Roadside in New Mexico

Welcome to jjriders! We started riding motorcycles with a desire to travel and an appreciation for new experiences. We jumped almost immediately from having never ridden to traveling across the country, and this is a record of what we learned on our way, as well as what we gathered from many web sites and books. We found that most information provided for motorcyclists was either geared toward heavily experienced 'biker' types or sportbike enthusiasts, and there was little available for everyone else. We invite all to consider motorcycle travel as an economical, greener alternative to cars and air travel, and also as an experience that often eludes younger generations. We hope that this site will prove useful for you in your motorcycle travels.
